Getting Started

We help you navigate the healthcare system more effectively. Think of us as strategic support for your medical appointments and healthcare decisions. We don’t provide medical advice—we help you organize your thoughts, prepare for appointments, communicate clearly with providers, understand medical information, and advocate for yourself when things get complicated.

We work with people facing everything from routine checkups to complex diagnoses, provider transitions, insurance denials, and chronic condition management.

PatientLead Health is for anyone who needs support navigating healthcare, including:

You don’t need to have a serious diagnosis or crisis to work with us. Many clients use our services for routine appointments when they want to make the most of their time with providers.

Start by clicking on the problem that matches your situation, and you’ll see relevant services. If you’re still unsure, book a Consultation Service ($150/hour, 30-minute minimum) and we’ll help you figure out what makes sense.

No, we do not accept insurance. All services are private pay. We provide detailed receipts that you can submit to your insurance or FSA/HSA for potential reimbursement, but we cannot guarantee coverage.

Patient advocacy services are sometimes covered under certain plans, particularly if you have out-of-network benefits. We recommend checking with your insurance company if this matters to you.

How It Works

Each service has a “Book Now” button that takes you to our secure scheduling system. You’ll choose an available time slot and complete a brief intake form.

For live consultations: Your selected time is when we’ll meet via HIPAA-secure video call. You’ll receive a calendar invite and connection details immediately.

For written services: Your selected time is when we begin working on your deliverable, so all documents and information must be uploaded by then. If you’d like an introductory conversation before we begin, your booking time doubles as an opportunity for a brief call with your advocate.

Most written deliverables are completed within 24-48 hours of your scheduled booking time. More complex services (like Comprehensive Case Analysis or Insurance Appeal Letters) may take longer and have specific timelines noted in their descriptions.

If you need something faster, add Rush Delivery ($35) for guaranteed 24-hour turnaround.

Your selected booking time is when we begin working on your job, so all documents and information must be uploaded by then. This ensures that we can start immediately and deliver what you need within our standard 24-48 hour timeframe.

If you’d like an introductory conversation before we begin, your booking time doubles as an opportunity for a brief call with your advocate. While optional, this helps us fully understand your situation and can create the most effective deliverable for your needs.

All written services include at least one round of revisions (some include two). If you need changes, just let us know and we’ll make them promptly.

If you need additional revision rounds beyond what’s included, you can add Extra Revision Round ($35) to your service.

Yes. We take your privacy seriously and follow HIPAA-compliant practices. All video sessions use secure, encrypted platforms. Documents are transmitted through secure portals. Your information is never shared with anyone without your explicit permission.

Absolutely. If you’re unsure which service is right for you or have questions about how we work, book a Consultation Service (30-minute minimum: $75). We’ll discuss your situation and help you figure out the best approach.

No. We are not medical professionals and do not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. What we do provide is strategic support for navigating the healthcare system: helping you organize information, prepare questions, understand medical jargon, communicate effectively with providers, and advocate for yourself.

Think of us as your strategic partner in healthcare, not a replacement for your medical team.

Not physically, but we offer Real-Time Appointment Support ($95) where you can text us from the waiting room or parking lot for immediate strategic guidance. We respond within 15-30 minutes during business hours (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm ET).

We focus on preparing you to advocate for yourself effectively, rather than attending appointments directly. Most clients find they don’t need someone in the room once they’re properly prepared.

Yes. Our Insurance Appeal Letter service (starting at $295) creates comprehensive appeal packages including evidence, policy citations, and medical necessity arguments. We write appeals that get overturned.

The process includes a detailed letter, supporting evidence packet, submission instructions, and two rounds of revisions. Pricing varies based on complexity.

Bundles combine commonly-used services at a discounted rate. For example:

  • Monthly Advocacy Retainer ($595/month): Priority access, unlimited portal message drafts, two 30-minute video sessions per month, quarterly progress reviews
  • Quarterly Care Optimization ($195): 45-minute check-in every quarter to review progress and update strategy
  • Comprehensive Case Analysis (starting at $595): Includes 90-day follow-up support

Specific Situations

Yes. Our Gaslighting Response Package ($195) helps you process what happened, identify what type of dismissal occurred, decide how to respond, and draft professional communication if needed. This includes a reflective worksheet, custom response script, documentation message, boundaries guide, and a 15-minute follow-up call to rehearse your response.

We help you protect yourself and address the situation professionally without burning bridges.

The New Provider Starter Package ($295, save $200) gives you everything you need: research on the provider’s background, a comprehensive medical summary for your new doctor, and strategic prep for your first visit. This helps you start the relationship on the right foot.

Alternatively, you can book individual services: Provider Research Brief ($95), Provider Transition Package ($195), or New Provider First Visit Prep ($125).

Start with Visit Note Accuracy Review ($85) to identify errors, omissions, or biased language. Then use Medical Record Amendment Request ($125) to draft a formal correction request citing relevant regulations. Providers are legally required to respond to amendment requests.

Yes. Care Coordination Map ($125) creates a visual map of your entire care ecosystem: which providers you’re seeing, what each one is responsible for, pending tasks, communication gaps, and consolidated medication list. This becomes your command center for managing complex care.

For ongoing support, consider Monthly Advocacy Retainer ($595/month) or Quarterly Care Optimization ($195).

Yes. Medical Jargon Translator ($35) translates up to one page of confusing medical text into plain English, explains what it means for your care, and flags anything concerning.

For longer documents or reports, try Single Document Review ($65), which explains the entire document, summarizes required actions, and answers two follow-up questions.

Policies & Logistics

You can reschedule or cancel appointments up to 24 hours before your scheduled time for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable, though we’ll work with you in emergency situations.

For written services, once we’ve begun work (after your scheduled booking time), the service is non-refundable.

Our services are designed specifically for the U.S. healthcare system, including insurance navigation, HIPAA regulations, and provider communication norms. If you’re receiving care in the U.S. but live elsewhere, we can likely still help. If you’re receiving care in another country, our services may not be as relevant.
